My husband and I stayed for 5 nights (in Room 7) in late June. We really loved the resort and Marathon. It is as pictured, charming and well kept. Very old Florida. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves. We didn't use the marina but it was fun to watch other guests and their boats. The room (#7) itself had a great ocean view, small patio, good bed, big closet and location (right by the pool). A/C excellent! The kitchenette in the room (full size fridge, toaster, microwave, some plates and silverware) and the grill just outside (clean) were nice to have. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Loved it. We stayed in Room 7, the King studio and it was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The boat ramp and dock were so convenient and everything was great.

The staff was helpful, the pool and beach front areas were well maintained (hammock was great!), and the layout worked well for a laid back couple’s day at the beach! My partner said the towels smelled fabulous, so it was a win all around!
