There is no reception I or by the apartment, my husband is very good with Maps and sense of direction but he even found it very confusing and hard to find the apartment without reception.
The stairs to the apartment are extremely steep, narrow and dark. They have a detector behind the TV that I believe monitors gas level every single morning the alarm would start to go off and wake us up very early. We would have to unplug it, then plug it back in to reset it. We messaged the host, but she wasn’t concerned and no action was taken.
The apartment is very small. It felt kind of dirty and I wasn’t comfortable even using the kitchen.
That was my first time staying in Florence so I don’t know how this would compare to other rentals, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.
