This very new seeming property was excellent and I'd certainly choose it again for another stay at Besshoonsen. Room was and clean relatively spacious, the three private spas worked well (although the hotel was not full when I stayed). Meals were delicious, dinner and breakfast, and sensible quantities.
If you're thinking of an overnight here a) you should come - it is a lovely old town and b) this place has your back for a bit of onsen magic while you are here.

The staff were amazing! The breakfast was so good and we were looking forward to it every morning. Overall great service , probably the best hotel service I’ve received! I’m looking forward to my next stay! - Aldrin and Family

We had an incredible experience. The property is gorgeous, modern, clean and charming. The internal Japanese garden is a work of art. The staff is wonderful and always available to help. we decide to go back and bring our children with us next time.
