It's not the safest area in São Paulo, but it's close to República Metro Station. From there you can go anywhere (once you understand the subway map). Important to day: It is an old hotel. DO NOT expect modern things in your room, but it is clean and cheap. I love their staff.

The initial that was given to me was very small, I ask for an upgrade even if I pay but they gave me a bigger room for free
