Beautiful, modern accommodations in the setting of a historic pub filled with antiques and carpentry of a bygone era. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was great down in the restaurant. Perfect breakfast provided every morning. We will be back!

On top of being one of the most beautiful pubs I've ever visited, the hotel room was very nice: a very comfortable bed and fine shower. For those who want to escape the "tourist belt" of London, the neighborhood is also extremely interesting while allowing quick access to the city centre via the Tube. I would highly recommend this place for the discerning traveler who doesn't want or need to be in the midst of the usual touristic things in London.
