Large bedrooms with lovely shower rooms. Varied and quality cuisine. Just about ski-in/ski-out with a fairly challenging hop over unpisted fields at the bottom. Great after a couple of gluweins. Local skiing is on the quiet but superbly serviced Kleinarl slopes with a vast and varied ski area just a 10 minutes bus ride away.

Manuela and her staff at Hotel Guggenberger were everything we looked for in this Austrian village. From arrival to checkout they were always looking to help, anticipating our needs and made us feel like we had been there several times before. The dining experience is also like belonging to a community, with the staff and patrons all making you feel you had entered their world for a while. Overall the food was good and if you were looking for something else it was there to be had. Steps away from shops, ski lifts and a gorgeous lake, we plan plan to go back.
