The property is nice. There are several Holiday Inn Express hotels in central Liverpool, so make sure you are booking the one closest to where you are going to spend time - we probably didn't!
The rooms are very small and not much room for luggage - perfect if you are having a weekend break but not so good if you are travelling for weeks like we were and had more luggage.
Parking is an absolute nightmare! There is no onsite parking and we were directed to an independent car park that was 6 minutes walk away - again luggage was a problem here. Breakfast was OK but the space gets very crowded and very noisy.

Great location close to docks. Cooked breakfast was lovely and frequently topped up. Very clean throughout. Beds comfortable, large spacious shower. Front desk staff very helpful & friendly. Stored luggage for me after check out.

The hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the city centre and all it's amenities. Our room was clean with a street view and the staff were very helpful and friendly
