Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful.
Nice but tiny pool in a pretty garden.
Breakfast was fine but basic.
I had a private en suite room which comfortable, no hot water but it wasn’t necessary as the weather was hot.
It was walking distance of the centre, about 20 minutes, and felt safe.
I expected it to be more hotel than hostel. It’s definitely a hostel but it is really nice!

Great stay and staff at Asuncion. Nice relaxing garden too and very good price. Close to old town and can use Uber/Bolt easily to go to the further sites like del sol malls, carmelita and airport.
