The lady who greeted me on arrival was super friendly and welcoming and made me feel like I had come to the right place (feel terrible for forgetting her name or I would have mentioned it), the rest of the staff were just as pleasant, the breakfast selection was good and all the facilities were perfect to come back to after a day up the slopes.

The 4 course evening meal was excellent; tasty, inventive and beautifully presented. The room was large and from the balcony one could hear cowbells in the evening and a rooster in the morning. And one can walk a short distance and board the gondola to the top of the mountain.

Three nights of pure indulgence - the food was exquisite with an a la carte 5 course evening meal. The spa is lovely - everything looks brand new. Spa treatments were also available and can recommend the full body massage from Susanna. We were looked after by a very attentive and friendly Anita every evening. This is a boutique hotel not to be missed in a very central location, by the river and a few minutes walk from the main Penkbahn gondola in Mayrhofen.
