Yes there is a bumpy 15 minute ride from the main road but the pay off is a tranquil environment to relax at Kili Villa. Our room had a lovely outlook to the gardens where local fauna and birds did their thing. The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the experience could have been improved with better communication about food and drink options when we arrived (with an explanation card). There are no other options for F&B in the area (aside from the golf club) so there was no range of choices for wine (1 x brand offered at a very high mark-up). If we come back to climb Mount Meru, we would stay again.

Beautiful stay. A special thank you to Eva and Peter. They were outstanding. We had a first class dinner and lovely fire with a glass of wine.
We would happily stay here again. A really nice way to relax after arriving off a long flight and get ready for safari.
