Miskiwasi was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and smelt amazing. The food served at the hotel was lovely and very delicious. A nice variety for breakfast and dinner. The owners of Miskiwasi were so accommodating. They helped up with booking tours and taxis, and made sure we got to each place we needed to be. We would highly recommend doing Chimpa Fortress as we saw over 20 condors and enjoyed a hike at the same time (much cheaper then the Colca cross tour, less people and more condors!). Yanque is very small, a trip to Chivay may be of interest if you have the spare time.

The stay was wonderful, Elar (sp?) and neighbor Mari looked after us incredibly well.
They prepared wonderful meals and arranged all sorts of outings. Highly recommended.

What an absolute diamond place. Close to the town centre, but far enough away to be quiet. The owner was always there and very attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best places we have stayed at in Peru, not pretentious, but authentic and warm.
