Room clean , bathroom good. Towels good size.
Little short on plug sockets for modern day appliances such as phones, hair dryers, hair straighteners.

The location was good. It is a historic hotel. The floors do creak. My bathroom has a stinking smell when I checked in. It was cleaned when I notified the staff who was helpful.

The room was clean, with a few small rubbish from previous guest. The room itself is quite dated, but that is the nature of the building. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and cheerful. They deserve great praise. Wifi was reliable. The breakfast was tasty and a classic full English breakfast. Coffee machines provided tasty coffee too.
