This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink.
Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again.
Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square.

Lovely area, would definitley visit again! Rooms were a little small which caused issues with the doors, fans didn't work in rooms, but nothing that prevented us from having a lovely time!

It was a very nice short stay in the very cute town. The restaurant food as great as well! We had breakfast and dinner and both were very good quality food. The rooms were good for the overnight stay.

Perfectly situated on our trip down Route Napoléon to the Verdon gorge.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well priced. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Castellane itself is well worth a visit. A lovely little town with some good restaurants, two weekly markets and great views from the the chapel on the hill.
