The apartment overall was rundown and didn’t feel clean and tidy. The entrance to the apartment was not very clean. The laundry area looked dirty. There are separate door in a long hallway for each room and bathroom that need to stay closed that make coming in and out of the rooms very hard. Overall it could have been better for the price that you pay for the apartment.

Unfortunately, the parking did present a problem having a large car. However reception were great and allowed us to park in an easier space. The room was smaller than expected. The window did not lock shut so had to be left open. The room could have done with a better clean as there were old crisps under the edge of the bed and when pulling back the duvet was a large clump of hair. The room was incredibly hot and although a fan was provided this proved to be pretty useless in cooling the room down and presented a trip hazard on one side of the bed. The best thing was the location. It was near where we needed to be.

The apartment in itself was great. Spacious and light. Tried to book parking which they said they wouldn't have space only for 1 night (we stayed 2) but there was plenty parking there. At least 3 spaces that haven't been used. Cleanliness was ok. Just a lot of dust by the TV and on the floor in the floor by the side board. Bathroom and toilets were ok there was just a bit of dirt and hairs on the floor behing the door from previous customers. We stayed at the ground floor so there were no windows you could open only a patio door that we couldn't leave open as we were in the ground floor. It was so hot and there wasn't any aircon or a fan we could use when we rang to ask if they could help with maybe providing a fan or something they didn't care too much and just said there is nothing we can do nobody will come out for this. Which has ruined the experience a bit because they haven't been very helpful. When we left in the Monday - the reception was open and guess what they used.. A fan... I am not one to complain normally but it just wasn't the best care we got. And very disappointed with the way this situation was dealt with. Oh and there was a safe that didn't work either.

Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building itself looked untended with rubbish and cigarette butts around the exterior. Really well located by the park and easy walk from the train station. I would look at other options if returning to Cardiff.
