Casona 61 Boutique Hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved the room and the private pool above. The air conditioning worked amazingly. We would definitly recommend.

The restaurant had very few options and not unexpensuve. It took very long for them to serve Very slow Should improve. Would be nice to offer cocktails since it is an adult property only

Pros Walkable location to grand plaza Comfy bed and linens Good breakfast Cons Rooftop pool is just an oversized tub, not a pool Hotel pool is very tiny

Overall, Casona 61 was an okay place to stay, but expectations should be set correctly. While it’s marketed as a boutique hotel, the experience feels closer to a motel. The rooms are very basic, with limited amenities — for example, there are no reading lamps, the beds and pillows feel low quality, and both the rooms and bathrooms could benefit from better maintenance. Additionally, charging for water after the first two bottles reinforces a budget, motel-style experience rather than a boutique one. It’s acceptable for a short stay, but it does not deliver the comfort or attention to detail typically expected from a boutique hotel. The only good thing is the staff
