This was an amazing hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in this area. The breakfast was phenomenal, hotel was super clean. Loved it and would stay again.

Bathroom was cramped. Containing shower water within shower area was impossible. Vanity sink was super small.
Room was spacious. Loved that part.

We love Hotel Varmaland. This was the second time we stayed here during our trip to Iceland. I described our great experience here in an earlier review, and this time was no different. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed in in Iceland. Really helpful and friendly staff. Nice touches like help yourself coffee in the downstairs lounge. Sinks in the rooms are too small but that is the only negative we had.
Highlight, however, is the restaurant! The views are good but the food is fantastic - easily the best we had in Iceland! There is a very talented chef at work here and you can see the care taken in the quality of the end product. Complemented nicely by the excellent serving staff, this is a place to remember for all the right reasons! Thank you.
