Best hotel in La Paz - great amenities!

For a hotel, that is supposed to be the best hotel, and with the prices day charge, I would expect a different level of awareness. I when I asked for my VIP benefits they made me feel like if I was some kind of welfare case asking for some kind of handout. This was exactly the text message I received: “Señor xxx, buenos días. Disculpe respóndele hasta ahora. Lamentablemente no es posible cuándo son Reservas por internet (Expedía). Hicimos la excepción la última vez. Lamentablemente tenemos restricciones.” So they’re saying that it is not possible for them to give me any kind of upgrades when I make my reservation online, but Expedia is an online reservation app. It makes absolutely no sense for them to say that. Then she says they have restrictions. So if you have restrictions that maybe they should take their hotel off of VIP status. Because the benefits I was asking for for Expedia Gold members which I am one and have been one for years. One of the days I came to pick up one of my friends that was staying in the hotel, and I parked my vehicle in front. The parking lot and front area were completely empty. One of the doorman like some kind of parking lot patrol came and said that I have to move it I said my friend will be here in 5 min. He said we need to keep this whole space empty at all times. And again I would have no problem if there was people waiting but the hotel lobby in parking we’re completely empty. You’re telling me you can’t wait 5 min! Get off VIP!!
