The room was nice and spacious, and the owner went above and beyond in service. there are two hot tube in the back, as well as a scandinavian sauna. A spacious lounge allows for viewing the northern lights, and there were snacks and refreshments to grab anytime. heavily recommend.

Everything is great, except the building is a little outdated. No USB ports etc.

The rating is actually 4.5 and its just because on our first day, our towels smelled so musty so we had to have them replaced. Also the corridors can be very noisy especially since the doors are heavy and slams if not guided to a close. If your room is close to the Spa, the geothermal smell (sulphurish) can be smelt in your room though that is not the hotels fault at all.
The reason I continued to give it 5 stars though is because these things are bearable and is not entirely a deal breaker for me. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and breakfast was great. You can also see the northern lights when the sky is clear and the timing is great.
I would still come back and stay here.
