I really liked the mini mart. There were some items I forgot to pack, but I was able to purchase them at the mini mart.

We didn’t like having cloth furniture in the rooms. The bed was nice but very lop sided. The pool was VERY cold and the hot tub was warm. We ate at the restaurant twice and 5 of us had dinner. It seems that most of the dinner items come frozen so it was a difficult choice since none of us like frozen dinners. We were told many item come frozen and not prepared by a chef or cook. Such as the fried chicken, salmon and others. Breakfast was not so good. We had the Denver omelettes that did not look like an omelet. Very few pieces of ham, onions and bell peppers. More like scrambled eggs in a clump. The hash browns were very poor. They were like reconstituted frozen hash burns that were so undercooked. The waitress was nice and efficient. This place is really beautiful and have nice rooms but the food has a lot to be desired. And best of all is it’s so close to Death Valley entrance.

Everything was good. They have a kind of convenience store. It is very good to get hot water and some food. However, Casino area is very small. And a restaurant for dinner is just next to Casino. Because of smoking, I had to take to go for dinner.
