The room was very clean; I worked for The Pamelia Hilton in Perth and it was on par as it in the cleanliness department. Only saw the staff when I checked in and they were very friendly and helpful. Didn't go into the bar. And didn't go into to any shops. I would be very happy to stay there again if I have to Come to York for another event.

Parking at rear, off ? Street. This would be helpful to future stayers, I found it after a few minutes as I was directed to Main Street, but you would be lucky to get in street parking.
No bottle opener.
Plenty of tea and coffee which was good.
Walls are thin!
Woken at 5:30am and again at 7am by couple talking in next room. Although there were many other rooms unoccupied, it blows my mind why you would put people right next door to each other.
