Safarnama Varanasi

Thanks to your stay at this hotel this time, Varanasi stay has become wonderful!!! All the staff are really helpful and always provide us with great service. When you come to Varanasi, India, I recommend Safarnama Varanasi! I will use it again!Thank you so much!

A lovely little hotel right in the heart of Varanasi with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff.

It’s very sad to have to say that this place was horrible. If they would spend some time doing maintenance in the hotel it could be so much better. The walls were dirty, the bathroom as well. The area around the property is disgusting. I don’t know how no one mentions the amount of flies here. Also it is so hard to find. It is close to the river but I wouldn’t really stay here again. The best thing about this place was the staff, they were very kind and helpful and the breakfast was nice too. Other than that everything was so dirty and again the hotel is so hard to find even the locals have a hard time finding it and you need to walk to it if you take an uber because there is a space where the cars cannot go in.

This is a fantastic hotel which I highly recommend. The reception staff speak English and there are always staff you can call on anytime needed. The room was clean, comfortable had air conditioning, great bathroom en-suite. We had a welcome basket, water, crisps, snacks and juice. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a choice of Indian or toast and cereals. Juice and chai or coffee. The hotel is in the old town so the last few streets are traffic free. If you call them they will come and meet you to help with your bags. We left for a 2am train and they carried our bags to the main road, spoke to the tuc tuk driver and agreed the price and we got to the train station totally stress free and safely. The location is great for the Ghats and any activity you’d like to do while in town.
