The entire place was clean and comfortable. The house was everything we have come to expect from a historic small town B&B. We had a great nights sleep, an excellent breakfast and a long and informative conversation with our host.
In world that has fewer and fewer traditional Bed & Breakfast Inns, it was great to find one that was just where we needed it for our travels.

As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys for a great time!

Great breakfast and inside of House a working Museum with so many working antiques and antique furniture. Owners are friendly and interesting. A little sad that the yard and deck could use some love.
