Even thought the hotel is old, due to aging city's economy and population decrease, however it was well maintained and clean. Staff was very kind. The view from the hotel room looking at Shimabara castle was fantastic. Location is very convenient, close to the arcade shopping area although most stores weren't operating, close to samurai residential street and carp street. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

In services and amenities this hotel is ‘good but unremarkable’, but we were lucky enough to get a room on the 7th floor with a fantastic view directly at Shimabara Castle. Hands down the best view you’ll get anywhere in Shimabara I reckon.
