I only stayed one night, but it was very comfortable and well maintained. The owner was very pleasant when I checked in and offered lots of helpful tips for the area. I'd recommend staying here.

On the tail end of our 11 day road trip we stayed at the Carter Inn. It is clean, comfortable and the owners are very welcoming. We were served a delicious home cooked breakfast with local ingredients and broke bread with our fellow guests. We only stayed one night, but we would go back in a heartbeat.
