For me, this was a perfect stay. I stayed in a deluxe room with an enclosed balcony and view of the Vistula, the balcony being the perfect place to watch the sunset or just sit and ponder life. The hotel is just inside the Old Town itself, and it's just a very short walk to the tourist info centre, the castle ruins, the river walkway, and to the city bus. Staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating, and very responsive to emails beforehand.
My own wish is that I couldn't have stayed another night.

This hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy Torun. You are in the old city but on the edge of all the tourist energy. The hotel is right next to the gingerbread museum and about a 5-minute walk from the center of town.
The front staff speaks English, and they are well-trained. The rooms are small but very nice. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the AC worked well. The hotel breakfast was very nice and required pre-ordering. The hotel doesn't have on-site parking; it's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the parking area. It's guarded and allows you to come & go access on the honor system. After seeing the narrow streets and access to the old city, the 10-minute walk and easy access to leave the city is well worth it.
