the staff was so sweet and helped us out with all of our needs, even though i was on vacation his kindness made it felt like we were back home. The rooms were small however it was only meant for sleeping and the futons were SO comfortable

Really old school place, we had it to our selves for our three nights. The breakfast is worth it. The Onsen is fairly dated and there are some places that would require removing the cobwebs.

The hosts at the hotel were extremely hospitable. They helped us get to our hike at Mount Tsubakuro and created a wonderful environment for rest and relaxation. The food was great, too!
