The hotel has been sympathetically restored, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, the staff are friendly, helpful and professional, the food is great. A particular shout out to Meivita Lumarso, who made our anniversary stay supper special

It is in an excellent location in walking distance to Museum Island and restaurants in Mitte . It is well maintained but I heard acoustics is an issue so I requested top floor room which was very quiet . Only issue is that the shower drain backed up and caused flood in the room . They fixed it next day but I was nervous nevertheless. But it is otherwise an excellent hotel

We booked the hotel without really knowing the area or the hotel at all and lucked out completely.
The room was superb, the staff (both reception and otherwise serving) were all on point even working hard to recommend an excellent restaurant for my wife's birthday dinner.
We will be back for sure, thank you.
