Rooms were clean and comfortable; some of the hotel was going through a refurb, so naturally some areas a bit messy. Evening meal was excellent; Breakfast was decidedly average.
Customer service was perfectly adequate but just felt a bit transactional

The Swan is great for travelers on the Cotswold Way. The rooms are in generally good condition and were clean and surprisingly large. However, the bed we had was marginal at best. The mattress sagged so badly that we spent most of the night pushing toward the edge of the bed to not feel like hotdogs in a bun! The pillows were also well past their expiration date. If you’re not fussy about these things and can sleep anywhere, then you’ll be fine.
