Spacious single room. Decor a little dated. Breakfast good size and served fresh. Friendly staff.

It’s an old property with limited amenities. But it’s well kept and clean. Price is on higher side based on what they offer. Food at restaurants and breakfast are very good. So don’t go out for food if you are staying here.

I've lost count of the number of times I have stayed at The Mariner's. As a result, I have been accommodated in a number of different rooms
The rooms are comfortable, light, spacious and very clean.
Apart from a good supply of tea & coffee etc, each room has a hair dryer, an additional plug in radiator (although I have never had cause to use one) and, in most rooms, ironing facilities.
The staff are excellent, truly excellent being friendly and very helpful.
A nice friendly & popular bar where the serve good quality food and there is nice beer garden / patio area guaranteed to catch the afternoon & evening sun.
