How fortunate we felt having booked L'Estancat during our trip to Pau. A delightful old farmhouse set in a small farming community in the most beautiful countryside with a view of the snowcapped mountains and the sound of songbirds. We were greeted by the proprietor and made welcome from the start and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast having enjoyed a peaceful comfortable nights sleep in our bedroom containing a small but perfectly serviceable bathroom. Having spent many a night in B&Bs in London, Spain and France this was undoubtably the best of all those experiences because of the location, environment, breakfast and being made to feel so completely welcome.

Lovely guesthouse, clean and comfortable bedroom. Peaceful environment. Easy to park and nice breakfast.

This is a fantastic location for those who want a quiet, rural place to stay and from which to explore the area and region. I don't think that it is possible to find better.
