The staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed. I had a problem with a train ticket that I bought and they helped me to figure out how best to fix the problem and then helped me to coordinate a trip to the train station so that I could fix it. The staff was accommodating with coordinating our schedule for the breakfasts and for the baths. If you want what is likely a traditional ryokan experience, this feels like the right place to get it. It’s in a great location, too.

Our stay at Kyoto Higashiyamasou was amazing. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were quaint and cosy. The traditional setting was just what we were looking for, a great experience. Overall fantastic would recommend.
