Super clean and well adapted for travelers! The owners are very nice and accomodating, I would’ve stayed longer if I could! I highly recommend staying there. Best hostel i’ve been to. There is a restaurant in the same building that belong to the owners and the food is great with reasonable prices. It was fun to have a calm place to stay, out of the busy city center. The garden is pretty and there are shrines to visit that are only 5 minutes away by foot.
It is a tiny bit far from the city center, but there was no real problem walking to and from bus stops or train. When getting there the first time, if you carry multiple large luggage or if you are out of shape, I recommend taking a taxi up the hill. It is not expensive and it is quick. It is a very minor inconvenience. My experience was very positive.

A bit secluded but it‘s not nowhere. Transport to the city itself is still quite doable and the quietness is worth it. They have a free foot bath in the evening and s good restaurant right next to it. It‘s comfortable and the owners are nice and friendly.
