Come here just to meet the gorgeous Cathy (pronounced Catty). With an infectious enthusiasm and a love of hosting people you will be embraced like no other stay. I have been to Port Louis before and noticing the exceptional reviews decided to switch this time to Catty's place. Best decision we ever made and we will always come back here. Utterly quiet, safe, comfy bed, exceptionally clean and well managed. Lots of space, all the mod cons including aircon and fan, microwave, frig, cookers etc. All the extras you need including shampoos and 5 types of shower gels! Bonus washing machine and plenty of hanging lines. Plenty of free advise and chats on any topic you desire. Thank you for the free and unexpected breakfast, made lovingly and different every day. 20 minute walk to town. A bus (150) goes directly out the front gate. But again, the greatest attraction is Catty and her loving family. It's more a home-stay than hotel.

The people of Vue de Valle and the city too, localation, environment, wheather, food, services.

I really can't complain.

We had a very warm welcome from the hosts, who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was great - lovely to have home cooked food. The shower was clean and powerful. The location is out of the city centre, but this means it's much quieter, and it's on a bus route so you could get into town quickly.

Be warned the apartment is close to a mosque and there is a 5am call to prayer. This didn't really bother us as otherwise the neighbourhood was very quiet, unlike some of the other places we stayed.
