Fantastic hotel with large, clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a beautifully illuminated swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, especially the receptionist/manager who seemed to be working there 24 hours a day. 😉
Cons: the gym was poorly equipped. We were also sent to La Plantation pepper factory, which felt like a tourist trap — daylight robbery in white gloves. A terrible place. I recommend choosing other plantations run by local farmers rather than French colonial-style businesses.
