Nice room while visiting Dubrovnik. There are some stairs in the road leading to the room so if you have monster suitcases it may be a little painful for you, but most is old town is this way, so a common problem.

The location was the biggest plus for the accommodation, close to the main square while being far enough away that you did not get the crowds or noise. We got what we paid for, it is a no frills accommodation however met all our needs at a reasonable price. We arrived late in the evening so were relieved that the communication with staff beforehand meant that we had the information to access it with ease.

Great location in the heart of Old Town! We loved staying here! The staff helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport for 45 euros each way. It was quite hot this time of year so the fact that this studio had air conditioning was wonderful! The shower was a bit small but we were ok with that. We had a wonderful stay here in Dubrovnik!

I would strongly caution other travellers, particularly women travelling alone, about my experience at Rafael Rooms/Dubrovnik Homes. I arrived in Dubrovnik at night expecting to be able to access the accommodation I had booked and paid for. Instead, I discovered that the property had never sent me the actual check-in information — including my room number and the codes required to enter the building and my room. Less than 48 hours before my arrival, they sent messages to my Hotels.com inbox asking for my arrival time and WhatsApp number. I was already travelling and did not see those messages. But those messages did NOT contain my check-in instructions or access codes. Missing a message sent less than 48 hours before a trip should not relieve a property of its responsibility to ensure that a paying guest has the basic information required to enter their accommodation. If their policy is to withhold access codes until a guest responds through WhatsApp, then in my opinion they have an even greater responsibility to notice when that contact has not occurred and ensure the guest is not about to arrive without any way of getting inside. Instead, I arrived alone at night and was stranded outside for approximately an hour in a dark alley, unable to enter the building. I repeatedly tried to contact the property, but they were not responding or monitoring their messages. I eventually got a hold of someone at hotels.com who was able to get in touch with the property.

The apartment is ideally situated in the middle of Old Town, close to all the attractions, restaurants, souvenir and convenient stores. Very clean, bright and cozy for a couple. The only negative comment is the creaky bed, other than that I would highly recommending booking this place. The staff were extremely responsive to any request and friendly.

great location and value for money. shower isn’t very good as the curtain makes it leak everywhere so that should be fixed. weirdly two sinks? not sure why that is the case. no big utensils to cook with like a spatula or wooden spoon otherwise good and cant complain when its good value
