La localisation est clairement le principal atout du logement : il est situé face à la mer, avec des balades et des commerces à proximité, et le centre-ville est facilement accessible à pied. La terrasse avec vue sur la mer est également très agréable. L’hôte est sympathique, serviable et disponible.

Le logement est situé au rez-de-chaussée et donne directement sur la rue, ce qui le rend assez sombre car il faut souvent garder les volets fermés pour préserver l’intimité. La décoration et le mobilier sont assez vieillissants et certains équipements mériteraient d’être rénovés (support de douche rouillé). Le ballon d’eau chaude est également un peu juste pour une famille. Enfin, la porte d’entrée extérieure nous a paru avoir un système de fermeture assez rudimentaire, ce qui peut être un peu déconcertant. Cela dit, le quartier est très sûr et nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis en insécurité.

Greeted by Giuseppe (owner) upon arrival. Showed us the premises and explained the various guidelines. Very well located to access the historic center within a 4 minutes walk. Bathroom and kitchen were upgraded and offered plenty of space and all the amenities and kitchenware required. Liked the fact that there were a washing machine, a sink, an iron & ironing board and a close rack on the second floor. Terrace with 1 table and 4 chairs and 4 sun chairs, is also located on the second floor and offers a great view overlooking the cala (beach) and the sea. We had Rosé there every evening before dinner. Upon arrival, our host provided 3 bottles of water and his own bottle of Spumante (Casa Vinicola Coppi), very nice touch and thoughtful of him. He was very helpful in recommending places to eat and some of the things to do. Thank you! There is also a dining/family room with a large table, a couch and a 32 inch TV (had a screen issue, left half the screen is faded). The bedroom has a large bed with lots of hanging space (2 large armoires) and a 5 drawers unit, albeit everything is very vintage it's functional and usable. Moreover, beach chairs and an umbrella are also provided. Public beach (cala) across the street with another one located 2 minutes walk. We preferred going to one of the better lidos along Via Procaccia, Lido Cala Paradiso which is only 15 min walk and has a sandy beach. Offered a change of towels on the 4th day of 9, but no change of bedsheets. We suspect that the expectation was for us to wash the bedsheets, but it would be hard to dry on a small clothes rack! Everything is there to make your stay enjoyable and memorable with easy walking access to everything. FYI - there is also a water bottle filling dispenser, a nice café and a barber shop just across the street, many other amenities like groceries, sandwich places, etc. less than 5 min. away.

Despite the fact that the location is fantastically located and has all the right ingredients, there is 1 shortcoming and 1 challenge. Shortcoming: Extremely noisy at night as bedroom is directly located at street level on Via Procaccia which is a busy street with motorcycles and vespas with loud exhausts making themselves continuously noticed passed 2 AM and again as early as 5:45 AM. Being light sleepers, it was very disruptive to our sleep for the duration of our stay. Challenge: ''Parking'', because it's located near 2 public beaches (calas) and limited free street parking spaces. We were there during later part of the Ferro Augusto (Italian summer holidays) there are many people flocking to the beaches and taking all the parking spots. Recommendation, if you have a vehicle and go site visiting better come back after 6 PM, better chances of finding a parking spot. N.B. Premise is somewhat somber due to all the windows having shutters to protect from the heat and entry (easily remedied with a visit to the terrace!)

Perfect location (the beach is 1 min away, 15 min walk to the old town), terrace with the view on the sea, beach equipment. Efficient AC.

A little bit too much noise from the street, especially during weekend.

Emplacement idéal : au dessus de la plage Bianca, très près du centre historique. Appartement très confortable (bien aéré, belle terrasse avec vue sur mer -penser à installer la voile sur les canis, ce que nous avons fait nous-même et c'était parfait !).
