If you want to enjoy Heraklion center then there will be no better place to stay then Sebil Domus: perfectly located, exceptional comfort - two cozy bedrooms with two bath, a nice living, complete kitchen, all surrounded by balcony with city center view.
But Sebil domus best is Katerina, the landlord which i.m.o. is the nicest and most helpful person you will interact with, while in Heraklion!
Still there is a shortage which you have assumed from the very begining - in the city center you will hear the street noice desptite all the double glazing.
Yet you may easily overcome it with a new pair of ear plugs from the pharmacy at the ground floor!

Very clean, lots of nice notes to explain everything and very well located.
Parking was difficult but we did manage to get street parking
