So much to like! Amazing views; quiet; comfortable; very well appointed (great toiletries; soft towels; fans; kitchen utensils; machine machine and dishwashing detergents; etc); garden toys for children; good TVs. We were made very welcome; great instructions for check-in and check-out. 2 minutes’ walk (barely) to get to the Fontainebleau forest; 20 minutes’ walk to a bakery. 45 minutes’ walk to Barbizon. The region has a lot to offer.
The shower room is very small, and so is the shower; the bathroom doesn’t have a door. These were not major problems for us.

Very nice owners and a very quiet location in the forest. All necessary bed linen, towels, shower gel, soap, etc.. provided. We got an extra bed, so there was enough room for 2 adults and 3 kids. Large open space in front of the house - great for lunch, sunbathing, or kids playing.
It would be great to have a dishwasher. (We knew upfront that there was none) Also there is no door in one of the bathrooms..
