The property was within easy walk to subways to the centre of Paris so great location. It was reasonably comfortable, warm and quiet in the apartment and the apartment itself was a cute Parisian style on the 3rd floor with a lift. We were met by owners brother who let us in and communication with owner was easy. Unfortunately it was very cluttered with the owners belongings so we didn’t feel like we could unpack anything for fear of losing it so we lived out of our suitcases while we were there.

The apartment had all the owners belonging still there (drawers had clothes in them and a cot full of clothes covered by blanket in the main bedroom, kids toys all throughout home , including in the bathroom and whilst these were put to the side it still was very cluttered. The fridge and cupboards also had lots of food in them and there was out of date food in the fridge). Bathroom weren’t overly clean either with hair in the room and no shower curtains on either shower area. It was like the family had just gone away for the week and rented their house out rather than a proper Airbnb apartment that we have been used to staying in. We just weren’t expecting to move into someone else’s lived in space.
