For coffee, Brilliant Street Cafe is 6 minutes' drive; for dinner, Thai Terrace is 4 minutes and Church Bar — pizzas and cocktails in a converted brick schoolhouse — is nearby too. Mount Panorama Wines is close by for tastings. Westpoint Shopping Centre (IGA, BWS, Dominos, a pharmacy and Kisuya Japanese Restaurant) is 4 minutes away, and Bathurst Base Hospital is 5 minutes away.
