It is a very good spot, close to the historic center, the room is decent , clean, hot water which works, wifi, they have water in the lobby and coffee if you need. The staff is the best always friendly and atentive, specially Markus, but all of them are great.I booked for 3 nights originally which I was going to stay but the next day i hear constructions, so had to leave one day earlier and the hotel refunded my last night. Really appreciate what they did. It is a greta place. Would come again. When constructions are over . But is a great spot!

The hotel is on a busy street. Half of the building is being renovated. There is some construction noise from around 8am. And there was noise from dogs barking during the night sometimes. The hotel location is close to the centro area, but nowhere close to a nice beach. The beach in Puerto Plata is an embarassment to the city and the country. Full of garbage. The staff were all very nice. the price per night is very reasonable.
