The codes provided prior to check in worked. We received a message after I contacted the host prior to arrival and she sent me the relevant details. Location was fantastic. It is two minutes from Montesanto, 10 minutes from Dante & Toledo! The apartment was clean, bathroom had a very good shower. Laundromatt is within 5 minutes walk. Luggage storage is literally in the same apartment block, provided by a patisserie in next to the Montesanto station.

It would have been helpful if the location had been explained to us, as arriving near midnight in a taxi when the taxi driver did not know the area, it was a bit unnerving trying to find the apartment. The postal address takes you to a very different place! However, the communication was poor. The only time the host contacted us was when she needed something doing. To handover the local tax, we waited for over 45 minutes and only when we messaged her did she respond to tell us that she will not be able to make it that morning! Second time, when we were away she messaged that an official from the council will visit the property to conduct a water safety check at 1600 hours. Otherwise the host was polite and friendly. As to the appliances within the apartment, note that there is no dishwasher – there is a dish drying stand and a sink. When we asked for an iron, we were informed that the law does not allow for a clothes iron to be provided. I was surprised as I had been provided with a clothes iron in other apartments in Italy. Further I could not find a single regulation that specifically prohibited the provision of the appliance.

Appartamento fantastico , grande e pulito , bagno nuovo e doccia bella e funzionale, cucina ben attrezzata , e funzionale , caffè a disposizione, tra l’altro buonissimo. La posizione è strategica e perfetta
