The apartment was acceptable overall, but not the location and communication with the hosts.
Wi-Fi was generally good, with only a few occasional connectivity drops.
At first glance the apartment looked clean, but on closer inspection it was not.
During our first day we had to clean almost everything before feeling comfortable using it: floors, washing machine, glasses and dishes, toilet, shower, door handles, sofa, wardrobes and bed linen. The floors were sticky and there was dust in all places.
There were also practically no cleaning supplies available, so we had to buy our own. In general, many household items felt more like things left behind by previous guests than supplies intentionally provided by the owners.
The air conditioning worked well, although it could be noisy. Unable to keep the windows open because there was very frequently a strong and unpleasant cooking smell coming from outside.
The advertised free parking should also be treated with caution. The parking area is shared and heavily used by several surrounding buildings. During our two-week stay we were never able to rely on finding a space there and normally had to park elsewhere, sometimes quite far from the apartment.
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an older building. The stairs are freely accessible, but the lift requires an access card even simply to call and use it.
The entrance-door lock was particularly frustrating. Locking or unlocking it from either side required finding a very specific key position and could take several minutes each time. It appears either badly installed or close to being broken. Doors making noise when opening/closing.
The toilet flush was another inconvenience-it required 2-4 flushes even for basic use.
The nearby beaches were also disappointing for us, with low water levels and unpleasant smells, so despite choosing an apartment near the sea we ended up driving 50–100 km to other beaches when we wanted to swim. Very disappointed with the quality and service of the nearby restaurants, while food-delivery options in the area were limited.

I had provided an expected arrival time and sent an updated time the day before arrival. Nevertheless, on the day itself I received a message saying “hurry up I need go to work”.
The location shared with us was in a pedestrian area and not accessible by car, with no guidance where we may park.
Once arrived, we had to wait outside in the heat for someone, introduced via WA as the host's husband, who was supposed to take us to the apartment. We're informed that he does not speak English.
Inside the apartment, he mostly stood still while communication continued through WhatsApp. A third person, their son, then started calling us to answer basic questions such as the Wi-Fi password and how payment should be handled.
Eventually received correct Wi-Fi password and agreed that the hosts would return later to collect the payment. Minute later they changed their mind and insisted that payment had to be made immediately because they did not have time to return. We therefore had to walk back to the car in the heat and return to pay.
Few hours later received message asking us to cancel our Booking.com reservation. When I asked why, I was told that otherwise they would have to pay Booking.com's fee, whereas if I cancelled they would not. I declined.
Communication at check-out was also uncomfortable, received the message: “when you leaving tomorrow? i need it faster”.
Replied I wanted to ask 1 hour after check-out if possible, but if not we'd leave at 11 rather earlier. Response was: “i need faster”.
We managed to be ready by 10:30 and I asked where to leave the key.
The reply: “you cant leave, we come”.
3 people arrived to collect the key.
