Owner was a great guy and very welcoming

Clean and quite

Location is good, in a smart area of Burnham, walking distance to centre. Bed was comfortable.

More a surprise really - the house is being refurbished - even my room and the bathroom were not finished, being bare plaster. The front drive was muddy and no proper flooring in the hallway or landing. I arrived when I said I would but there was no answer at the front door despite lights being on. I had to call the owner twice to be allowed in - not the greatest of welcomes. No breakfast - but the promenade cafe 25 minutes walk away is excellent and open when you need it

Excellent location and had everything I needed for a rest from my coastal walking

8 / 10Eccellente·apr 2025

The room is ideal for solo travellers and has the benefit of a good location in Burnham-on-Sea. It is approximately 10 minutes to walk to the local beach and cafes. It was peaceful. It is unique as the room is part of a family home. A bath towel was provided on arrival. The adjacent combined bath and shower room was very spacious.

One minor note was that I should have asked for a replacement cup for tea each day.
