Canal View Stay Amsterdam

Such a great stay, made even better by Johannes! The room is very cute and has hotel level bathroom amenities. You can really tell Johannes & Inna have a professional hospitality background by the little details they put into designing the room. The location is right outside the park, a breeze if you’re comfortable biking in Amsterdam. There’s a supermarket not even one block away, a bike rental place 2 blocks away. I would totally rebook the next time I’m in town.

Johannes and Inna were great hosts! Once we booked, they asked us a few questions about food and drink preferences, and when we arrived, we saw that they listened to our responses, as we were greeted with items that matched our answers! Before our arrival, we had travel questions, and Johannes immediately messaged with answers. After we arrived, Johannes helped us with our luggage (the steps are steep), but we had no problem going up or down! He was able to help us figure out the best way to spend our full day in Amsterdam. The location worked out well, as it is near Vondelpark and the major museums. Staying at Canal View gave us lasting memories of our first days in Amsterdam!

Johannes was a wonderful host. We enjoyed our conversations with him when we arrived and when we departed. He was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He gave good recommendations for restaurants that we could walk to and what to do in the area. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful. Our room was inviting, so clean, cheery, cozy, and comfortable. If in the area again we would stay at Johannes’ place.

Johaness was the perfect host, I would recommend this home and I’ll stay here again when going back to Amsterdam. Very nice location with a nice view of the canal. Very comfy room, with all the amenities you need!
