The rooftop mixed onsen was a big surprise, but super nice as we don't usually get to be with family members of other sex. (You do provide basic swimwear). It was so nice to look over the lake and just chill out in the onsen upstairs, but the main onsen were also incredible. Food options were plenty in the restaurant (buffet style), and it's so close to the Ainu Kotan... definitely worth a visit!!

Hotel is a time warp, step back into the boom times of 1980 Japan. Roof top heated pool with a view of the lake and volcanoes in the background! I need to say no more!

Great rooftop pool to watch the sunset. The Japanese styled rooms are a large size which is very comfortable. Huge hotel and too busy and rushed in restaurant. The decor is very aged. Good location though and great access for lake side walking.
