Colle Alberti Country House

Setting and facilities was amazing

No negative comments other than limited dinner choices during the Tuscan night but in fairness it was good value for money

The country house is great, awesome rooms, nice pool and cute landscape. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate all requests. Most of the other guests were also nice to be around. The food is delicious and the wine and drinks were great too. The A/C worked like a charm and the daily dinner offer (changing every day) is delicious and value for money is superb here. They also have list of recommended restaurants etc. close by. Also they offer yoga sessions on Sunday. Also you can do a lot of (half) day trips to Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Sienna and so on.

There was a "boys group" making many people at the pool and the dinner feel uncomfortable and turned the pool into a drinking party à la "Ballermann 6". This was raised multiple times by various guests, but the staff was unable to stop them sustainably. But we got the hotel manager was super friendly and seemed to understand and offered offered us a nice discount and overall made us feel like she understood. Therefore, we would not say that this is a bad hotel, we just had the bad luck of having those people stay at the same hotel during our stay. Maybe the hotel team learnt that these kinds of groups should not be accommodated here, but rather in a party location. But one note on the service during dinner and breakfast. There were mutliple occasions where we had to get oil ourselves, had to open our wine ourselves and go to the kitchen to order more drinks. And this held true for all other guests too. That's one thing, where we would say there is room for improvement. And please install a few more hangers in the room for wet towels etc.

Beautiful hotel. Would highly recommend for a peaceful well located stay in Tuscany m. Great breakfast, helpful staff!

The only fault would be the mosquitos at night
