Vila Shehi Guesthouse and Winery

It was an excellent location, so near the airport, but with the feel of the countryside. The room I had was spacious with individual paintings on the walls, and, a separate bathroom. The wine tasting was great with a delicious home cooked meal. Gazi was an excellent and amusing host.

Nothing, well, the coffee. But I haven’t had a good coffee throughout my trip to Albania!

The owner is incredibly friendly, funny and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious! The guesthouse is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the airport. Highly recommended!

Shower in bathroom without any separation

The room was clean and perfect for our stay. The wine yard was just outside our room. Beds were comfortable. The whole place was beautiful and quiet.

Owners of the place was little bit strange. When we arrived we were told that "you came early" when we asked what is the situation with our room. We went to the dinner and that was an interesting experience. Menu was green salad, aubergine in tomato sauce, canned beans and melon as dessert. We had each two glasses of wine and the check was 90 euros. We think that the owner was drinking wine as much as the customers and therefore the atmosphere was akward. We left early next morning and we got take away breakfast. That was one boiled egg and a bread with cucumber blocks, cheese chunks and a piece of sausage. In our friend group was three persons who work in hospitality and restaurant business. We were absolutley appaled about the experience. We just don't get how all the reviews from this place is so excellent.
