The location of this house was perfect. The rooms were nice sized, and the listing was accurate about the house itself. However, the listing wasn’t exactly as described. If I had driven and brought my own beach chairs and towels, toys, all the things kids and older adults need, it would have been great. There was one broken beach chair. I never received an email on how to check into the house. The house was dirty and had piles in sand in the master bathroom, and kitchen. The oven was so dirty smoke was coming out of it when we tried to use it. One of the bedrooms had a closet door just not attached. Masters bedroom closet had doors not attached, we put them back on. We had to go buy trash bags. The person we were messaging about the house was very quick to respond about my concerns, but never really offered any solutions so we just dealt with it. I went and bought beach towels, if I had driven down I would have had room in my suitcase to bring my own. I went to buy beach chairs and just left them there. The house itself if cleaned property would be a great place. Hopefully they can get a better cleaner and maybe stock some things. I have stayed at tons of vrbo and air b and b places on vacations, and this one was bare bones. Buying things for the house would be a tax write off. Stock the house, clean the house, and you’ll have a great property.
