The whole experience at The Old Rectory was really good and the hosts were very helpful with local information.

Welcoming atmosphere, breakfast, cleanliness and comfort of beds, freedom to come and go with coded entry.
Large jigsaw in breakfast room! Fun and ice breaker.
Slight struggle with lack of space in en suite although shower itself was roomy.
Quite steep steps to the visitors' entrance.

The lacation is great.
Clean bedding.
Plenty of tea and coffee in the room.
Polite friendly host.
Breakfast- not everything was replenished. The cooked breakfast tasted nice, but for a bigger appetite it may be better to ask how many bacon, egg, sausage etc a guest might like or offer a larger/ smaller portion.
Cleanliness- whilst the bedding was lovely and clean, not everywhere else was to my standard. However we were told they had taken it over and had bigger better plans for this b&b. The batgroom was in need of attention.
Hopfully if the upgrade happens, this could become a top rated b &b.
